A few suggestions...
1) A good way to get more members to your site is get an affiliates bar and go to other fansites and ask them to affiliate with you.
2) The best place to advertise is the BBS as most simmers to there. Sign random people's Guestbooks it works well and post in the fansites sections.
3) Get a shoutbox/chatbox it's great for keeping in touch with current online members who are on at the same time as you.

1) I'm working to get an affiliate bar right now. I like the idea.
2) The bbs board my best friend Allyson posted their yesterday. And the guest book is what I'm doing right now.
3) Shoutbox I'm getting one now. It should be up soon.

Try to change the font color instead of the yellow it is hard to read on the whit background in the threads area
